Notifications

You can configure PayThem to send you and your teammates email notifications when certain events have occurred. These events include successful and failed payments, as well as any pending payments. All User notifications are turned off by default. Customer notifications are sent out automatically. Important Notification settings need to be configured for every company you have set up in PayThem. See Settings/Companies Notification Types Name Description Payment Successful Will send an email to all notification users when a payment has been successfully made by the customer Payment Failed Will send an email when a customer has attempted to make a payment but it failed and no payment was taken Payment Pending Will send an email when the customer has made a payment, but it is not yet completed as it may require authorisation. The payment could be accepted or reject. Either events will trigger a success or failed payment

The Users section allows you to add, edit and remove users from PayThem. These users are global users and can access every company you have connected to PayThem. Administrators Only! You need to be an administrator to access Settings. If you are not an administrator then this section will not be available to you. How to get to Users Users can be found under the Settings cog icon in the bottom left-hand corner of the menu. Click on the icon and when the menu appears click on Users . Add a User To add a user following these steps. Go to Settings  > Users  (see above). Click Add User in the bottom left-hand corner. Enter the Name  and the Email  address of the user you want to add. Select the Role  they should be, either an a Administrator  or a Standard  user (see below for the differences between the user

The Access Keys section allows you to create and manage access keys. These keys allows you access to the API. This is used for integration with Spindle. Administrators Only! Applying Filters to a Payment Provider Configuration

Filters allow you to offer dynamic payment providers choices depending on the transaction currency and payment amount. For example, you may want to accept UK payments using Opaya but would prefer all US and European payments. Also, you may only want to offer bank transfers to payments over GBP 100. Preference Sections General Default Country Allows you to select the default country that will apper in the country selection drop-down on the payment screen if no country has been supplied for the payment request. PayThem uses a common list control to display lists of items. This page provides information on how to use the list controls. Navigation You can navigate through the list using the page controls at the bottom. Scroll through the list by clicking the arrows (> and > takes you to the last page. You can change how many items are displayed on each page by selecting a value from the "Results per page" dropdown. Sorting To sort a column in ascending order, click on the column name. If the column is already sorted by that column, clicking again will sort it in descending order. The current sort column is indicated by a small up/down arrows icon. PayThem allows you to accept payments using a variety of methods, including credit cards and bank transfters. These payment methods are provided by payment processors. With PayThem you can BYOP (Bring Your Own Processor). We currently support the following payment processors, with more coming soom. What is a Payment Request

Overview A Payment Request is a tool that allows you to request a payment from an individual or a company. You can link it to one or more transactions, or even associate it with an account, like when you need to collect a deposit. The flexibility allows you to create multiple payment requests related to the same set of transactions. Payment Allocation When a payment is received for a payment request, that payment is matched up with the associated transaction. This ensures that the payment is allocated correctly. In case a customer tries to make another payment for the same transaction through a different payment request, our system is intelligent enough to handle it seamlessly. It will only permit payments for any remaining amounts that are due, preventing double payments for the same transaction. What's in a Payment Request? Payment Editing

When requesting payment from a customer, you may want to offer them flexibility in paying less than the full outstanding amount. You can achieve this in two ways: When creating a payment request , you can set a fixed amount that the customer is required to pay, which may be different from the full transaction amount. However, this amount cannot be changed by the customer once set. Alternatively, you can enable payment editing in PayThem. This allows the customer to choose how much they want to pay, giving them the flexibility to pay any amount they wish. Editing the Amount to pay value Without payment editing, a transaction is usually display to a customer like this: The amount to pay is shown as GBP 155.49 and cannot be changed. The only option the customer has is to pay the full amount. However, when payment editing is enabled, the transaction will
